    3. For anyone that is researching the Fordyce or Farabee name, I found the death certificate at that LDS site for John Lemon Fordyce and his wife Fannie ANN Stollar and on John Fordyce's death certificate it stated his parents were James Fordyce (born OH) and Phoebe Farabee (born PA). James and Phoebe lived in Washington Co, PA but their son John L and wife Fannie Ann Stollar moved to Wooster, OH and that is where they died and their grandchildren the same. Since females are hard to find who they married, I hope this information helps. Midge --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now.

    2. Victoria Hospodar Valentine
    3. Shooting Likely To Result in Murder Edward COOK who shot and perhaps fatally wounded Tony CHAMAR at Laurel Hill, near McDonald, Monday night was held pending result and committed to jail Tuesday morning by Justice G. W. LAND of Oakdale CHAMAR Monday night was reported to be in an extremely critical condition. CHAMAR is supposed to have been coming home from Bridgeville Monday night when he came upon the crowd of young men, some from Sturgeon and some from Reissing, who were drinking near Laurel Hill. He stopped to talk with them and from what can be learned, some trouble arose. A young man named Edward COOK, pulled a gun and fired. He did not seem to be aiming at any one in particular but the ball struck CHAMAR. The bullet entered the lung and he bled profusely. Dr. LAROSS was called and attended the young man. Tuesday morning, the 2 o'clock express was stopped at McDonald and he was taken to the Mercy hospital, Pittsburg. The state police, under the command of John P. DAHNER, stationed at Oakdale arrived on the scene shortly after the shooting, and rounded up ten of the gang, among them COOK who did the shooting. They are all in the lockup at Oakdale. CHAMAR resides at McDonald with his mother. They are one of the oldest French families of McDonald, and young CHAMAR, who is about 24 years of age, stands well there. He was born at McDonald. The young man shot was not a party to the trouble but was acting as a peacemaker. November 25, 1911 McDonald PA Outlook Fritz COOK will have to stand trial for the shooting of Tony CHAMAR, the grand jury of Allegheny County having brought in a true bill against him for felonious assault and battery.

    1. [PAWASHIN] Floyd-Linda- Jackie- concerning Richardson/Kennedy Connection
    2. Ron Richardson
    3. I am in search of any connection one might have with the Richardson and Kennedy families. I have my ggrandfather Wayne Kennedy Richardson living beside a John Kennedy in Allen Township, Washington County, in the 1880 census. Wayne was born in 1854 in PA. I also have a Richardson living beside a Kennedy in Butler County in a census around 1850. My quest is to find Wayne's father or my gggrandfather. I am following the hunch that since Wayne had the middle name of Kennedy that his mother may of been a Kennedy. Also, He named his first daughter, Laura Isabelle, and I think there was an Isabelle Kennedy that married a Joseph Richardson. Wayne named two of his children Milton. His first son, John Milton, and his last son, Milton Dewey. There was a Milton Kennedy listed in the household of that 1850 census mentioned above. Have hit a brick wall concerning Wayne or his existence before 1880. Although I do have some information concerning his membership in the Coal Center Methodist Church, Roscoe, Washington County area, relating to that time frame. He may have lived in the Mt. Tabor area during this time frame. Any help would be very much appreciated. I am sure many of you reading this have remembered my same delima over the past few years.
