SHOOK JAMISON, he was born June 4, 1884, in North Fayette Township. He was a retired car dealer and owned and operated JAMISON's Garage in North McDonald street, McDonald, for many years. Surviving are two sisters, Lula GLASS of Bavington and Maude JAMISON of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Frank J. Nation Funeral Home, Inc., McDonald. Burial was in Robinson's Run cemetery. Delbert HANS, Sr., 53, of North McDonald street, McDonald, died Saturday, September 10, 1983, in the Allegheny General hospital. A son of the late Edmond and Augustine SERVAIS HANS, he was born May 14, 1930, in Weirton, W. Va. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two daughters, Cindy IKE and Cheryl HANS; a son Delbert; three sisters, Edna Mae BITTNER, Louise TYLER, and Marie BLANCHARD; a brother, Louis; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning in the Thomas and Little funeral home, McDonald, in charge of the Rev. Edward R. DELAIR, pastor of the Trinity U. P. Church, McDonald. Burial was in Robinson's Run cemetery. James M. DIMITROFF, 59, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Bulger, died Wednesday, August 24, 1983. He was born September 7, 1923 in Weirton, W. Va., and had resided in Bulger for a number of years. He was a deputy director of the Consumer Products Safety Commission for the U. S. Food and Drug Administration. He organized the Optimist Club in Louisville, Ky., and served as its first president. Mr. DIMITROFF served as a major in the U. S. Army during World War II. His wife, Dr. Ann M. DIMITROFF, died earlier this year. Surviving are three sisters, Charlotte DIMITROFF of Las Vegas, Nancy FULLERTON of Virginia, and Sylvia MICHAEL of Camarillo, Calif. Burial was in Las Vegas. Ralph RANCE, 63, of Sturgeon, died Saturday, September 10, 1983. He was born February 17, 1920. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; a daughter, Denise; two sons, Ralph, Jr., and Louis; four sisters, Helen FALCONER, Pearl WEBSTER, Phyllis ORRIS, and Marion ANDREWS; two brothers, Louis and Samuel RANCE; and a grandchild. Mrs. Mildred BLAKELY NALESNICK, 62, wife of Edward NALESNICK of Imperial, died Saturday, September 10, 1983, in the Mercy hospital. William G. BURKETT, 90, of Washington, a native of Midway, died Monday, September 12, 1983, in the Washington hospital. A son of Alexander S. and Mary Ellen SHAFFER BURKETT, he was born May 28, 1893, in Midway. Mr. BURKETT was a lifelong member of the First U. P. Church, Houston, where he served as ruling elder for 40 years. A retired educator, he was a teacher in Midway, a high school principal in Bridgeville, and an assistant county superintendent in the Washington County Schools. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William (Joan) BURROWS, of Washington; four grandchildren; a brother, Richard Henry BURKETT of Colliers, W. Va.; and a sister, Mildred B. ROBERT of Burgettstown. His wife, Grace ADAMS, died in 1975. Friends are being received at the Speakman funeral home, Houston, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in charge of the Rev. James A. PATTERSON, 71, of Penn Hills, former superintendent of the West Allegheny School District, died Monday, August 29, 1983, in the Forbes Regional Health Center, Monroeville. Mr. PATTERSON graduated from California (Pa.) State College in 1933. He received his Master's and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. He was affiliated with the West Allegheny School system for 37 years and was superintendent when he left in 1966. He was superintendent of the Swissvale schools until his retirement in 1970. He then formed Associated Education Consultants and served as its president. Mr. PATTERSON was a past president of the Phi Kappa Delta Fraternity and of the former Oakdale Kiwanis Club. He was also an elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh and was a life member of the National Education Association. Besides his wife, Helen LANDIS PATTERSON, he leaves two daughters, Anne SEGERMARK of Wayne and Mary WEIR of Rumson, J. N.; a brother, Harold of California, Pa.; and four grandchildren. A memorial service was held the afternoon of September 1 in the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh. Burial took place last Friday in Rolling Green Memorial cemetery, Camp Hill, Cumberland County. Gordon W. TAYLOR, 89, of Albuquerque, N. M., died Tuesday, August 23, 1983. A son of the late James Samuel and Maude NEELY TAYLOR, he was born August 10, 1894, in Pennsylvania. He is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Lee COUCH of the Carnegie area; two sons, Richard of Albuquerque, N. M. and Gordon of the Carnegie area; three brothers; three sisters; 10 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial services were held September 3 in the Montours Church Chapel, Oakdale R. To his son, Stephen Colvin, he left the two hundred acres comprising the homestead. The sons, John, Vincent, Jr., Joshua, Moses, and Lott, had smaller tracts varying in area.     3. Hi I am unfamiliar with Pennsylvania records and would welcome some guidance. I am trying to trace the family of Alexander Moody from OH to PA - no hint where - but this family seems to "fit" Alexander Moody bought land on Two Mile Run in 1792, and sold it in 1795 In 1794 Mary, wife of Alexander Moody, was buried at the Binn-Moody cemetery, on Binn Rd in West Pike Run twp (I noted this from a website that is no longer available) What other records from pre 1800 Washington county exist that might have some information? Church records maybe And where would I be likely to find such records? Thank you for any help Judy
