She was born April 30, 1889, in Evans City, a daughter of the late Alva and Katherine Hovis Clay. On December 6, 1916, she married George Dresch. He preceded her in death in 1952. Surviving are several nieces and nephews including Mrs. O. K. (Ruth) Wodzianski of Franklin. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Floyd Clay, and a sister, Ruth Zerbe. Friends will be received after 56 pm today at the Joseph Szabat Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. W. A. Robbie, retired Wesleyan Methodist minister, officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery, Grove City. In leu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society. The Blizzard 11-25-1952 Tuesday George Dresch, 68, Dies Here Today George Q. Dresch, 68, died at 10:10 a. m. today at 97 Washington Avenue following six months' illness. He had been retired the past several years due to ill health. Born June 4, 1884, in Grove City, a son of the late Charles and Catherine Long Dresch, he had resided in Oil City the past two years. He was married to Mabel Clay of Fredonia in 1916, who survives, together with three sisters: Mrs. Bertha Redmond, Meadville; Mrs., Oscar McCamant?, North Canton, Ohio; Mrs. H. P. Marley, Cochranton; two half brothers, William and Daniel Long, Grove City; also a number of nieces and nephews.
