C. Dickey, Accountant, Dies At 79 FRANKLIN-Howard C. Dickey, 79, of 1433 chestnut St., A retired employe of the Chicago-Pneumatic Tool Co. and self-employed public accountant, died at 8:10 pm Monday in Franklin Hospital. He was born in Cooperstown September 11, 1894, a son of Dr. E. L. and Mary R. Westlake Dickey. He attended the University of Pittsburgh and Allegheny College. Aworld War I veteran, Mr. Dickey had served with the 112th Army Infantry. He worked at CPT for about 20 years before he retired and became self-employed as a public accountant. He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth McElhaney. A brother, Harold W. Dickey, is deceased. Arrangements, to be announced, are in charge of the burger-Gardinier Funeral Home. A completed obituary will be published in Wednesday's Derrick. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, persons wishing to make a memorial donate to a favorite charity. The Oil City Derrick 01-23-1974 Wednesday Funeral Rites Set Thursday For H.C. Dickey FRANKLIN-Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Thursday in the Burger - Gardinier Funeral Home for Howard C. Dickey, 79, of 1433 chestnut St., a retired employe of the Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co., and a self employed public accountant. Mr. Dickey died Monday evening in Franklin Hospital. he was affiliated with the E&H Dickey Accounting Service. Rev. Reinald E. Moore, rector of St. John Episcopal Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Burger - Gardinier Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today.
