P. Mays Funeral services for Mrs. Etta R. Mays, wife of H. P. Mays, of 130 Elm St., Rocky Grove, who died Friday night, were conducted in the Rockland Methodist church on Monday afternoon, following a prayer service held at the family home. Rev. Frank S. McKnight, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Franklin officiated at the prayer services at the Mays residence. Rev. McKnight, Rev. Scott Ingersoll, pastor of the Rockland Methodist church, and Rev. E. O. McNulty, pastor of the Knox Methodist church, officiated at the services in the church. At the services in the church, Rev. McKnight read three hymns and two poems and Rev. Ingersoll and Rev. McNulty read Scripture. Interment was in Rockland cemetery and the pallbearers at the prayer services held at the Mays residence in Rocky Grove were W. J. McDaniels, Donald Roberts, Charles Bergman and Park McKinley and at the funeral services in the church, Clifford Smith, A. N. Borland, H. A. Bell, O. F. Cope, A. M. Lynn and J. B. Wi! lliams.
