I have an unusual question. My husband and I have 3 Model A Fords, and he is busily building our 4th--a Wood Panel Delivery, On the wooden panels we're going to 'advertise' Myers Mill in Van, PA - a mill that was built by George S. Myers about 1836. George was my mom's great-grandfather; the mill remained in the family until it was destroyed by fire in March 1934. One of the items that we're thinking of including is a phone number. Could anyone tell me how many digits that phone number might have had (in the 1930s)? Thanks! Ancestry has a bunch of 1930ish material online unfortunately this library computer is so slow and I am losing it <G> I searched my cousin and got a bunch of newspaper hits for him and maybe one will be an ad that will use a phone number. HOT DOG <G> Phone number 111 is Liberty sales Relief st Oil city. None of the other ads had a phone number in. This is 1928 but... <G> 1928 > March > 24 Oil City Derrick (Oil City, Pennsylvania) I do wonder if most figure you would use the operator and the operator would know the number <G> Eliz On 8/5/08, Pat Roberts <patroberts@wildblue.net> wrote: > I have an unusual question.
