McKim of Franklin Dies Tuesday FRANKLIN - Mrs. Alice T. McKim, widow of Philip C. McKim of Franklin RD 3, died at 11:10 a.m. yesterday in the Franklin Hospital. She had been a hospital patient since May 1 and had been in failing health since the first of the year. Born April 8, 1875, in Rockland Township, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Eliza Carner Snyder. She spent her entire life in this area and had been residing with her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Klinger the past 24 years. Mrs. McKim was well-known in this area and was the last surviving member of a family of 13. She was a charter member of the Grace EUB Church of Rocky Grove and was a member of the Good Samaritan Class of the Ladies Aid Society of the church. She was united in marriage to Philip C. McKim in 1890, who preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1952. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Ralph (Gertrude) Klinger of Franklin RD 3; Mrs. Winifred McKim of Kennerdell; Mrs. John (Rose Ann) Bellak of Kennerdell and Walter McKim of Me! adville; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Nine children preceded her in death. Friends will be received at the Buchanan and Schmidt Funeral Home starting this afternoon. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Charles L. Rummel of the Grace EUB Church of Rocky Grove officiating. Interment will follow in Melat Cemetery.
