Re Haygood I think there's a possibility she is Helen Haygood. In the 1930, this woman appears, married with a daughter, no husband's name, living in New Jersey: she has been married from the age of 25 and is now 40, so should have appeared in the 1920 census. And she didn't. There are very few people with this surname in either census, so I just called up all those born in PA. This way you can see any matches across the census returns - admittedly, it works better with males than females, but as long as the married name carries through, it works OK. Of course, there's a possibility the surname has been wrongly spelled or transcribed, but I can't go there .... good luck Maggie
