I too am researching the Deeters of Venango Cty. My maternal g-grandmother was Adeline Heffernan, m to George Deeter. Sorry I can't give anything concrete to sort out the mix-ups, but was hoping you've been able to sort it out further since 2004 & would be willing to share? I have Daniel Deeter m to Elizabeth ?, with 11 children but I think that may not be correct - can you help??
