Venango Citizen-Press Feb. 4, 1925 [Wed.] Franklin, Pennsylvania BIGELOW, John E. Aged 68 years, died at his home in the Valley Extension [across 8th St. Bridge from Franklin] on Friday. He was born in Rockland on Jan. 20, 1857. Member of Methodist Church, California Ave., Northside, Pittsburgh. Spent most of his life there, coming to Franklin about 6 years ago. Survived by wife [not named] three sons, 5 bros and 7 sisters. Feb. 4, 1925 Funeral notice: Services held Sunday at his late home. Body placed in vault in Franklin Cemetery and will later be taken to Pittsburgh. Pallbearers: A.A. Strickenburg; J. W. Beach; S. P. Hazlett: C. Warner; Ernest Call and Ernest Call, Jr.
