Her GGrandparents were said to have been buried in Chapmanville Cemetery in Plum Twp, and at least one of the next generation, a great aunt, was also transported to be buried in this cemetery when she died as late as the 1980s. This makes me suspect that there is a much longer connection of this family to this area of Venango. I see that the historical society has a volume of Plum Twp cemeteries for sale, but I hate to suggest that my friend buy it without having more of a clue. Is Chapmanville Cemetery included? If so, are more recent burials [ie, after 1950] included, or are all the transcriptions much older? Can someone check to see what Hoovers might be buried in that cemetery?
