This makes me suspect that there is a much longer connection of this family to this area of Venango. > > I see that the historical society has a volume of Plum Twp cemeteries for sale, but I hate to suggest that my friend buy it without having more of a clue. Is Chapmanville Cemetery included? If so, are more recent burials [ie, after 1950] included, or are all the transcriptions much older? Can someone check to see what Hoovers might be buried in that cemetery? > > Thanks for any info, > Linda S > > Important Note: > The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Thanks, Carol-Jeanne!!! This helps even more than I had hoped!! I was really just hoping for possibly a previous gen of Hoovers that might be useful eventually........ But it looks like you have the listings for the George and Frances that were our primary targets, and not only have provided death years and a birth year for Frances, but may have helped with a census mystery as well! They have been incredibly hard to find! I suspect she may have gone by Emma instead of Frances. George and Emma I have seen...... Sounds like I will need to have her get the book soon. It sounds like the general area her Hoovers were in earlier. But for tonight, it has been a breakthrough moment! Thanks so much!! Linda S.
