His son Gilbert married my Grandfather's half sister. 1 - George MORGAN - 1538 Born - 1815 Callensburg, Venango Co., PA Died - 1882 Tionesta, Venango Co., PA sp- Elizabeth SHOUP - 1539 ( 523) Born - 1817 Allentown, Lehigh Co., PA Mar. - 1836 Callensburg, Venango Co., PA Their Son: 2 - Gilbert MORGAN - 997 Born - 14 Jul 1842 Callensburg, Clarion Co., PA Died - 1909 Bur. - 1909 Johnson City, Washington Co., TN !Gilbert served in the Civil War, enlisting April 25, 1861 by lying about his age and saying he was 21. He served in Co. C. 10 PA Rex. Inf. Cubbison & wife Eliz. Mattern Cubbison. Gib just seemed to go on and live his own life after the death of Mollie from what I can tell, since he was not involved in raising his children.
