Lee, Your ancestor, Joseph V. Gegogeine, was the older brother of my great grandmother, Sophia Vernie Gigogne. Leslie Raybuck did such a great job sharing this info with me, I'll let her tell you what she knows. I found out some interesting things from her. She has given me info back 3 generations on both Joseph's maternal and fraternal side. Let me know if I can be of any assistance.
