She married George Ghering and they lived the remainder of their years in Cherrytree Township, Venango Co., PA. They were married in Sunville in 12 April 1864. Amanda's parents were Thomas McBride and Margaret Gillispie. She had a brother named David McBride, born in 1941. She had a nephew Frank McBride, age 9, with them in the 1880 census. There is a Florence McBride married to her son George Lowry Ghering. Florence was a niece (born 1887). Anyone connected with this family? Also, where are Jackson Center and Sunville?
