I have no information on William List, but I would like to know how he is tied to the surnames I have listed here. I have a picture of William List taken in his elder years. Iwould like any help you can provide. My greatgrandfather, Edward Sweeny paid the $350.00 in order to stay out of the draft during the Civil War. I wonder of William list could be his replacement?
