But, my great-grandparents, Jacob & Henrietta(Bicehouse) Reichard, lived near Pittsville which is in Rockland township, Venango Co. They sometimes used Pittsville as their mailing address and other times used Freedom. I don't know about a Catholic Church there. I'm pretty sure there was a Methodist Church. It was a very small settlement. There would have been no birth records that far back, unless a church could have had some. Franklin is the county seat.
