Porter This indenture made the Twenty Seventh day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Forty Seven Between William Porter & Julia his wive Allegheny Township Venango County & State of Pennsylvania of the first part and Moses J. Porter of Township County & state aforesaid of the second part. Witnesfeth That the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred Dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt of which is hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained sold released and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell release and confirm unto the said party of the second part their heirs and afsigns. All That certain piece or parcel of land situate being and lying in the Township County and State aforesaid and bounded as follows [orig]: Beginning at a post in the Centre of the State Road it Being the North East corner of John BrownÂ’s meeting House lot. Thence South Twenty eight degrees West thirteen perches to a post it being the South East corner of lot aforesaid, Thence North Sixty Two degrees West seven perches & five tenths of a perch to a post standing in said Browns South line thence South Two degrees west forty perches to a post thence East fifty perches and three tenths of a perch to the centre of the State Road. Thence North Thirty Eight degrees West forty nine perches & five tenths of a perch along said Road to an angle in said Road thence North Sixty two degrees West Eleven perches to the place of beginning Containing ten acres be the same more or less it being a part of a Tract of land designated on the Maps of the [Neolland] Land Company by 129. Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances there unto belonging and the remainders and revisions rents [ipines] and profits thereof: To Have and To Hold the premises hereby granted with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and afsigns to the use of the said party of the second part his heirs and afsigns forever. And the said party of the first part and their heirs the premises hereby granted with the appurtenances against all and every person whatsoever have freely claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof to the said party of the second part his heirs and afsigns Shall and will warrant and forever Defend.
