If anyone has requested a lookup recently in Bates History of the PA Volunteers, I would appreciate knowing who you contacted and what the charge was. Do most of the large libraries in PA offer this type of lookup, or would you suggest I go elsewhere? I do not know which regiment my ancestor served in....I just sense that he did serve and die in the war, as I cannot find any record of him anywhere after 1860. THX! Marcia McEntire Lund in NC
