William McIntire, (also spelled w/Entire, Intyre, Entyre) was born in Venango Co. PA in 1845. His family lived in Oakland Tsp. until they moved to OH at the close of the Civil War. (FYI: William's brother, John D. McIntire, served in the PA 57th Reg. Co. E in 1861, then re-enlisted in 57th/Co. K until June 1865. His post office address was shown as Dempseytown on his military papers. He enlisted in Cherrytree.) PS: It looks like his middle initial could have been J., but I'm not positive. I am still searching for census or any info on the marriage and family of Frank Cummins and Anna McCracken of Venango Co. They had a daughter Leona, b/1892. The family may have moved to Ashtabula, OH, as that is where Leona married in 1910. Sandy McSpadden.
