You might also contact the Pennsylvania Room, Franklin Public LIbrary, 421 12th Street, Franklin, PA 16323, 814-432-5062. They have a huge collection of obituaries and a wonderful staff. If you give them the name, the will tell you if they have an obit. Not all deaths were reported in the local papers. It was not until recently that obits of residents were printed, and usually it depended on the family and the financial situation of the family. Good luck!
