Mrs. Shaffer was born on Oct. 9, 1885 in Lock Haven, PA the daughter of Jon and Liberty Belle Kitchen Lloyd. She was married Jan. 25, 1905, to Ralph G. Shaffer, who preceded her in death on September 7, 1957. Mrs. Shaffer was a member of the Methodist Church of Emlenton. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Briner of Flint, MI where Mrs. Shaffer had gone this Spring to live; one son Sgt. 1-c James D. Shaffer of Ft. Sill, OK and three grandchildren. Carole Jean and Richard Briner. Services will be held at the Criswell Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Cloyd Osborne, pastor of the Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Emlenton Cemetery. ==================
