They had a niece, Jennie E. Shepherd (1874-1957), who was a daughter of Susan’s brother, Huston H. Shepherd (1845-1921), that married Jesse Leone Pryer (her 2nd husband) 17 Dec. 1914 in Franklin. Jesse was a son of John Pryer’s first cousin. Are you a descendant of William Shepherd (1803-1878) and Susannah Swartz (1810-1891)? If so, which of their children is your ancestor?
