I have been told that many Huffman families who left Venango County in the early 1800s moved to Wayne County and Medina County, Ohio. My gggrandfather, James F. Huffman, born in PA about 1801-1806, moved to Ohio as a young man and in 1830 married Catherine Wilson in Medina County. Though not yet confirmed, clues indicate he may have moved to Ohio with an older brother named John and a younger sister named Margaret. I would greatly appreciate corresponding with anyone with information on the Huffman/Hoffman surnames of Venango County. Thank you, Donna
