The Karnes family settled in Pinegrove Tp., Venango Co., but may have lived in Frenchcreek Tp., Venango Co. before settling in Pinegrove Tp. Clarissa was living in Tazewell Co., IL in 1872 and McKean Co., IL in 1900 according to courthouse papers and family obituaries. I have more on the Karnes and Stroup families that I would be very willing to share if that is your line. I would be interested in anything you might have on Clarissa and her descendants.
