Pa Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Pa/Venango/2234 Surname: Borland, Gemmell, Campbell, Myland, Tolleyfield, Toogood, Brownlie, Whyte ------------------------- I am getting slightly confused here since we have one family claiming that John Borland and Catherine Montgomery had children starting in Worth Township, PA about 1738 with Andrew followed by Archibald about 1740 plus the rest of the family - and one family claiming that John Borland and Catherine Montgomery started their family in Gettysburgh, PA about 1768 with Archibald followed by Andrew - were there really two John Borland men from Northern Ireland living in PA and who married a Catherine Montgomery ?? I know that similar combinations happened in Scotland on numerous occasions but this one does not gell somehow. Does anyone have the actual marriage entry of these two people or a positive birth/baptismal original entry for any of their children?
