Tarrs are descendants of George Tarr (1766-1845), an early settler of Cherrytree Tp. Despite the efforts of many researchers, we are stuck at George Tarr. Several references state that he was of German descent from eastern Pennsylvania. I would really like to know more about Christian Derr and his children that came to Venango Co. Cheers, Kipp Melat
