Sollinger, 92, formerly of Emlenton, died at 1:45p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, in Beverly Healthcare, Shippenville, following a lengthy illness. Born March 11, 1908, in Butler, she was the daughter of Bert and Minnie Cupples Teitsworth. Mrs. Sollinger was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and embroidery. She attended the Chapel on the Hill at Emlenton RD 2. Mrs. Sollinger was married Nov. 10, 1928, to Raymond Sollinger, who died March 29, 1985. Suriviving are a son, James R. Sollinger of Allentown; four daughters, Betty Shoup of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. William (Virginia) Kyle of Monaca, Janice Croyle of Nickleville, and Wilma Wolfe of Knox; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Sollinger was preceded in death by a son, Raymond H. Sollinger; a daughter, Sandra Kay Sollinger; a grandson, Gregory Gordon; a grandaughter, Tammy Lynn Croyle; a great-granddaughter, Amber Wolfe; and a brother, James Richard teitsworth. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Knox. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funberal home with Mrs. Sollinger's grandaughter, the Rev. Valinda Custer of Waynesburg, officiating. Internment will be in the Emlenton Cemetery.
