Hi Penny, Did not realize you were the Penny that has helped me so much. Are you a Reisinger (Risinger)? I am a Reisinger descendant. My direct line, Elizabeth Reisinger the daughter of William and Mary Reisinger married to Andrew Peterman around 1786/8 in either York Co. or Washington Co. PA. All the early Reisinger originated from Johann Nicholas Reisinger from Niederingelheim, Germany. and he came with son (over 16), and wife and other children who were females or males under 16, on the Sailing ship Dragon on September 26, 1749 into the harbour of Philadelphia. They went almost immediately to the York Co. PA. William and Mary Reisinger has the following children which were listed in William Reisinger's will filed in Washington Co. PA. The children were Elizabeth born around 1771, Henry born around 1775, Williams born around 1776/8, Jacob born on May 4th. 1777, George born around 1779, and John born around 1780. There could have been more children, but were not listed in the will. There appears to be a couple of generations between your Henry Reisinger born around 1823 , and what I have. I have some information on the children for the men listed above in the will. But I do not have the generation after that, and that is probably the generation needed here. Let me know if I can help you.
