Her father was Adam Shaffer. I have no dates on him nor do I know his wife. Marie Shaffer married Johnannes Seyler (b. 1 Aug 1808 d. 29 Jun 1881). His parents were Peter Seyler and Anna Catherine Brosius. Marie Shaffer and Johnannes Seyler had a daughter Mary Ann Seyler (b. Oct 1830 d. 30 Feb 1905) that married James Auman (b. Oct 1822).
