Mrs.Pyle was the daughter of the late Edward and Philenda Law Dunn and was born in Plumer February 13,1869 but spent practically her entire life in Franklin.Possessed of a gracious and friendly nature,and greatly interested in church work.Mrs.Pyle was endeared in many.She was a member of the East Grove Methodist church and the various organizations of the church and also the W.C.T.U. Mrs.Pyle was married to John A.Pyle on November 9,1893. Surviving are her husband,the following daughters,Mrs.Frank H.Brown,Franklin;Mrs.Frank R.Siefer,Franklin;Mrs.William C.Bean,Bradford;Mrs.Donald W.Highfield,R.D.1 Oil City;Mrs.Robert E.Evans,Franklin;and Mrs.Thomas D.Shuffstall,Franklin.She is also survived by two sisters and a brother,Mrs.Nettie Connell,Franklin;Mrs.Ray Barney,Battle Creek,Michigan;A.E.Dunn,Weston,W.Va;12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body has been removed to the family home,R.D.No.1,Franklin,where friends may call any time.
