Steiner, 53, of Boyers, R.D. 1, died suddenly at 10:30 A.M. Sunday, October 23, 1966. He had been in poor health but had attended church earlier in the day. Born in Marion Twp. November 9, 1912, he was the son of William J. and the late Jenny Ruffener Steiner, He was a member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, of Murransville. He was employed by the National Tube Co., of Ellwood City. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lydia B. Steiner; a son, Charles A. Steiner Jr., of Renfrew, R.D. 1; his father, William J. Steiner, of Boyers, R.D. 1; three sisters, Mrs. James B. (Carolini) Kelly, of Boyers, R.D.1, Mrs. John (Luella) Troy, Emlenton, and Mrs. H.D. (Wilma) Campbell, of Mercer; and a brother, Henry R. Steiner, of West Sunbury, R.D.2. His mother Jenny Steiner and a brother Abner Steiner preceded him in death. Funeral services were held from St. Alphonsus R. C. Church in Murransville by Rev. Peter A. Kuenzig. Arrangements by Young Funeral Home.
