A son of Mr.and Mrs.Ernest Pyle,he was born in Venango County,February 5,1901.After his retirement he moved to Florida. He is survived by his wife,the former Florence Sullinger;a daughter,Mrs.Dale(Wanda)Bell of Middletown;two sons,Richard Pyle of Vienna,Va.,and Russell Pyle,at home;a brother,Eugene Pyle of Franklin;three sisters,Mrs.Marie Cameron and Mrs.Mary Etta Oakes of Franklin and Mrs.Myra Maier of Oil City and nine grandchildren. His parents and a sister,Vivian Fry of Rouseville,are deceased. Funeral services and interment took place in Florida.Among those in attendance at the funeral home were Mrs.Bell of Middletown and Richard Pyle of Vienna.
