It is a tiny (maybe 350-400 people, probably less) village between Olean & Portville, Cattaraugus County, New York. It is located on state route 417 beween the two larger towns. This part of Cattaraugus County is within 5 miles of the PA border. McKean County, PA is just across the state line. I would check the Cattaraugus County website at http://www.rootsweb.com/~nycattar/ and do a search at the site. Also contact the Cattaraugus County Historical Society if interested.
