He was born Feb.6,1897,in Cherrytree,a son of William and Mary Tarr Fry. Mr.Fry was employed by Pennzoil Co.,and later operated the barber shop. He was a member of the Rouseville United Methodist Church,the Rouseville Volunteer Fire Department and the Loyal Order of Moose in Oil City. Mr.Fry was first married to Vivian Pyle who proceded him in death July 10,1951.He later married Adelia Rennard who also proceded him in death. Surviving are a son,Clinton Fry of Franklin,three daughters,Mrs.James (Ruby) Monarch of Franklin,Mrs.Ernest (Louise) Zelinski of Waterford and Mrs.John (Doris)Dibbley of New Castle;a step-son,John Rennard of Oil City,three sisters,Mrs.Clara Johnson and Mrs.Harriet Tenney,both of Oil City,and Mrs.Mary Hartman of Miami,Fla.;seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Friends may call after 2 p.m.Tuesady in the Charles A.Morrison Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.The Rev.William Shaw,pastor of teh Rouseville United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in the Rynd Farm Cemetery.
