Sunday in Franklin Hospital,where he had been a patient for over two weeks. A son of Robert and Mariah Annabelle Pyle,he was born in Sandycreek Township August 24,1869.An oil producer,he resided in this vicintity all his life. He was married in 1894 to the former Mary Dunn,who proceded him in death April 19,1947. Pyle was a member of the East Grove Church and the Adult Bible Class of that Church. Surviving are the following daughters,Mrs.Frank H.(Helen)Brown,Mrs.Frank R.(Jane)Siefer,Mrs.Robert E.(Louella)Evans,Mrs.Thomas D.(Olive)Shuffstall,all of Franklin:Mrs.William C.(Florence)Bean,Duke Center,Mrs.Donald W.(Gertrude)Highfield,Oil City. A brother,William J.Pyle,Oregon and a sister Mrs.Hattie Boals,Franklin,also survive along with 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The body has been removed in the Barron Funeral Chappel.
