FORMER VENANGO COUNTY RESIDENT DIES ANNA AUDINE BOYER BLOOM, 85, of 1043 Newton Ave., Lawrence Park, died Wednesday, February 21, 2001, at Twinbrook Medical Center, 3805 Field St, Erie. She was born in Sugar Creek Township, north of Franklin, PA, on October 18, 1915, a daughter of the late John Fremont and Gertrude Elsie MacDonnell Boyer. She lived in the Erie area most of her life. She was a member of First Church of God on Pine Avenue and taught Sunday school at various churches for 35 years. She enjoyed singing. Four sisters and two brothers preceded her in death: Elsie Iona (Mrs. James Oliver) Eldridge, Ruth Leona (Mrs. Lewis R.) Divil, Grace Vera Boyer, Verna Maxine (Mrs. Milton Eugene) Proctor, Boyd Edward Boyer and Glenn Sylvester Boyer. Surviving is her husband of almost 64 years, the Rev. Andrew John Bloom. They were married on May 14, 1938 and resided on Newton Ave. during the length of their marriage. Also surviving are two sons, John Allison Bloom and his wife, Linda, of Bullard, TX, and Rev. Calvin Carlyle Bloom and his wife, Jeanne, of Grand Rapids, MI; two sisters, Ruby Marie (Mrs. Donald Gordon) Roemer and Esther Luethel (Mrs. Clarence William) Geer of Franklin; two brothers, Evan Carlyle Boyer of Franklin and James Leo Boyer of Denver; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dusckas Funeral Home Inc. East, 2607 Buffalo Road, today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at First Church of God, officiated by the Rev. Douglas Hepler and the Rev. Nancy Kilpatrick. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery 1718 East Lake Rd., Erie. Memorials may be made to First Church of God, 3510 Pine Ave., Erie, PA 16504.
