My gggreat grandfather John B Shaffer's daughter, Mary Elizabeth Shaffer,b 1850 married John Cummin(g)s, b circa 1841. Their son, my great grandfather was Robert Marshall Cummings, born Clintonville, Venango county, November 1873. Also decended from Mary Magdelena Snyder b1795 Northampton county-d1870 Monroe township, Clarion county. She was the daughter of Frederick Snyder/Schneider b1758-d1830 Toby township, Clarion county.
