Caldwell's History of Venango Co. says "he was a Brittish officer in the Rev. War and had married and settled at Franklin. He was first at the old garrison than had a home at Elk near Ninth St. He was a justice of the peace for many years." Who were his wife and children? Where did he come from? Any information welcome. Anyone out there decended from him?
