Last Will And Testament of John Annable of Davenport,State of Iowa. These presents witness that I,John Annable,being of sound and disposing mind and memory,do hereby make publish and declare this instrument as and for my last will and testament,hereby revoking all former wills made by me. 1. It is my will,and I hereby appoint my wife Mary Emma Annable,my son,John Quincy Annable ,and my Daughter,Hattie Althea Bryson to be the Executors of this my will and request that they be permitted to qualify as such without giving bond. 2.It is my will,and I hereby direct my said Executors to pay off all just debts against me as and my estate without unnecessary delay out of any funds coming into their hands as such,and of the remainder as herein directed. 3.It is my will,and I hereby authorize my said Executors or such of them as the Court shall permit to qualify,to sell all the property of my estate,except such as is herein expressly bequeathed,and if sale is made to any devisee,his receipt to the extent if his bequest,may be received in lieu of cash.Such sales may be made at any time after my decease, and I direct that all my property shall be reduced to cash within one year after the death ,or remarriage of my said wife. 4.It is my will,and I hereby direct that whatever notes and book accounts I hold against any of the devisees herein, shall be considered as apart of my estate for the purpose for distribution,and be deducted from the devise made to such debtor devisee. 5.It is my will,and I hereby bequeath to my said wife in lieu of dower or distributive share,the net income from my entire estate,during her natural life or for as long a period as she shall remain my widow,the said income to be paid to her in semiannual installments. 6.It is my will and I hereby direct that within one year after the death or previous remarriage of my said wife,the remainder of my estate be distributed as follows- To my son,John Quincy Annable,my Sax Horn,my watch,chain and masonic charm,and one half of my mechanic's tools,and the one third part of the general estate not specially bequeathed. To my daughter,Hattie Althea Bryson,the one third part of my said general estate. To my son,Albert Annable,my fossil rock,medals and badges,and one half of my said mechanic's tools,and the one third part of my said general estate,less the following bequests to his children by his first marriage:- To Saide Annable,Two Hundred Dollars To Mrs.Girtie Rust,Three Hundred Dollars. To Mrs.Nellie Mayer,One Hundred and Fifty Dollars. To Maud Annable,One Hundred Dollars. To Birdie Annable,One Hundred Dollars. To George Annable,One Hundred Dollars.
