They were sons of Caleb Thompson and Mary Addleman. All three brothers married Hays sisters. In the 1850 census: James Thompson b. 1807 and Margaret Hays Thompson living in Oalkand Twp., 7 children, 2 more born later. Caleb Thompson b. 1810 and Mary Hays Thompson living in Oakland Twp., 6 children listed. Abraham or Abram Thompson b. 1815 and Hannah Hays Thompson living in Pinegrove Twp., 5 children.
