He was my teacher at Barkeyville, PA many years ago. He lived in Wesley at the time he was teaching the various schools, including: "I taught a couple or three years, maybe four, in Canal Township, at the Lupher and Swamp Schools." He retired in 1974 from Victory Elementary School, part of Franklin Area School district here in Irwin Township.
