Askey, 58, died at his home Wednesday at Findlay, Ohio. Burial in the cemtery there. He was a former Oil City resident. Born in Rockland, May 16, 1875, son of James and Mary SMITH Askey. He was principal of the Pleasantville Schools for many terms. Married Mabel Berry of Oil City, who survives him along with one daughter, Mary; one sister, Mrs. C.L. Duffield of Tulsa, Okla., and one brother W.E. Askey of this city.
