Beatty, 74, of Cooperstown, died Saturday at her home. A native of Canal Twp., she was born Dec. 3, 1908, a daughter of Harry and Susan Young Boughner. On June 24, 1925, she married Homer Wayne Beatty who preceded her in death May 21, 1976. Mrs. Beatty attended the Donation Hill Community Bible Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Allen A. (Shirley) Shuffstall of Geneva; 2 sons, Harry D. Beatty and Albert S. Dodge, both of Cooperstown; 1 brother, Kenneth Boughner of Sandpoint, Idaho; 2 sisters, Mrs. Edward (Betty) Reisinger of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Mrs. Chester (Harriet) Beggs of Gainesville, Fla. One son, George Merlin Beatty, and a daughter Mary L. Beatty, along with 2 brothers, Albert and Orville Boughner, are deceased. Interment Cooperstown Cem.
