Looking for information on Alexander McElhaney who emigrated to US from Ireland in 1796 and is buried in the Old Sandy Cemetery in Sandycreek Twp., Venango Co., Pa. He died 13 Mar 1859 age 88 years so would have been born about 1771 somewhere in Ireland. I believe he emigrated with his brother in law James Cannon and may have spent several years in Phila. before coming to Sandycreek in 1801. Anyone related to him or know where in Ireland he came from? For that matter anything about him. Thanks, Helen
