In a never-ending quest, I'm looking for any information about the descendants of Andrew McKelvy and Elizabeth Grey of Barkeyville, Irwin Township, Venango County. Andrew operated a hotel at "the Corners" in Barkeyville, died in 1872, and was buried in the Old Log Cemetery. I'm also looking for any information about the family of Eliza Bigley, who married John H. McKelvy at Barkeyville in 1864. John and Eliza lived at Barkeyville for some time, then emigrated to Kansas in 1879. John served in Company K, 4th Regiment, Pennsylvania Cavalry; his brother(?) WIlliam served in the same company, was captured by the Rebels, sent to Andersonville, and died February 1864 at Richmond.

I am looking for an Isaphene McElhaney who married and Emanuel Crispen probably in the late 1860's. The had a son named Charles in 1871 who was born in Franklin. I have no other info on Charles or Isaphene. I do however know that there are memories of the McElhaney family owning a greenhouse of some sort around the Franklin area in the mid to late 1950's and would be interested in connecting with any of the descendants. Any leads would be helpful. Thanks in advance. Joy in Ohio
