Pa Query Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Pa/Venango?read=2177 Surname: LUSHER, MUENCH, PRYER ------------------------- I too am a descendant of the Lesher/Muench (various spellings) family that moved from Berks Co., Pennsylvania to Venango County. My ancestors were John George Lusher (1774-1849) and his wife, Catharine Muench Lusher (abt.1768 - abt.1849). Their daughter, Elizabeth (1812-1885), married my g-g-grandfather, Peter Pryer (1809-1888). I belive that the parents of George Lusher were John Lesher (1739-1811) and Anna Catharine Wohlfahrt Lesher (abt. 1742-1815). I believe the father of Catharine Muench Lusher was Johann Christopher Muench/Minnich (1734 - abt. 1806), who was a son of the Johann Simon Muench/Minnich (1700-1782) that mentioned in your query. I am very interested in knowing your relationship to this family. Wayne Pryer
