    3. Posted on: Venango Co. Pa Query Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Pa/Venango?read=2198 Surname: ------------------------- Does anybody know anything about the families of James Martin, listed in the 1810 census in Frenchcreek Township (along with two other James Martins), or of John Martin, of Franklin in 1810? I'm trying to determine whether my ancestor James Martin (c.1786-1852), a native of Ireland who lived in Pennsylvania in 1809 or 1810 and who settled in Harrison County, Ohio, about 1820, was the same as the James Martin, Jr., in the 1810 census in Frenchcreek Twp., Venango Co. He seems to have had a brother Andrew, who in 1829 had a wife Margaret. The "pre-1812" list on this site says that James and John Martin came from Maryland, but this could be a mistake. In 1820, James Martin was listed in between Thomas and William Lyons, who lived from about 1801 to 1808 in Venango County. Paul Gifford

Elizabeth Ann wife of Leonard Cross Adams is also buried in Franklin Cemetery. Her dates are shown as 1855-1940. Much of this info. comes from his pension records for service in Company M of the 5th Regement of Pa. Calvary. I would appreciate any help anyone might provide on this family. Thanks, David

Pa Query Forum Board URL: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Pa/Venango?read=2194 Surname: Willyoung, Rumberger, Manross ------------------------- I need help locating the Willyoung family of Venango Co. I know my gg-grandfather moved to Bully Hill in the mid 1860's. His name was Charles Paul. He married Jennie A. Manross. I only know of one child, my g-grandfather, Charles Robert. He had a son, Charles Frederick. He married Dora Rumberger. This is all I have. If someone could help fill in the blanks it would really help. Living in Tx. kind of make research difficult. Thank you, Jim
