    3. Posted on: Venango Co. Pa Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Pa/Venango/2264 Surname: Rodgers ------------------------- Unfortunately, I just recently received this data in the form of a copy of a letter dated 1978 from my wife's great uncle. The letter is in the form of narrative and does not provide dates. All I know is that Wilson was the brother of James and Samuel. Samuel was born in 4/2/1825 and is buried in Olivesburg, Jefferson CO. I have only begun to try to verify this family narrative that is based on what this great uncle (Lynn Rodgers) heard when he was a boy from his great uncle James. The only Zebulon I can find is in Warren County census, though these men ranged far and wide doing timbering.

    3. Posted on: Venango Co. Pa Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Pa/Venango/2261 Surname: Rodgers, Sollinger ------------------------- I have no information on the father of Wilson Rodgers at this point or where Wilson originates from (other than that he was born in Pennsylvania about 1839) but I do know that Wilson was living in the Emlenton area of Venango County by 1880. I suppose that it would be possible that Zebulon Rodgers is the father of the Wilson Rodgers that my wife is related to. This would make Zebulon about 33 years old when Wilson was born which is quite believable. Do you have any further information on Zebulon Rodgers or his son Wilson that might help determine if this is the same Wilson Rodgers that my wife is descended from, such as the age of Wilson? Did Zebulon died in Jefferson County? Do have any information on where Wilson moved to or any of his brothers?
