I am researching the Lescher/Lesher/Leshure ancestry, and I believe the Jonathan Lesher in my family tree might be the son of the John George Lesher and Catharine Muench posted before. What I need is verification of Jonathan Leshcer's (b:1807 in Berks Co. PA)children. That would really help me know if these are the right people. Right now I have a Jacob Lesher as a possible son of his. Jacob Lesher then had a daughter named Hattie Mae, who is my ggg-grandmother.Thank you!!

Pa Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Pa/Venango/2323 Surname: Borland, Glenn, Huffman, Hovis, Stoops ------------------------- The information I have is John Borland was a soldier of the Rev. War, died about June 30, 1815 in Center Co. His dau. Mary married James Glenn; (my 4th gr. grandmother). She was born Sep. 10, 1776. Her brother Andrew was born Abt. 1774. I found information at Bellefonte Hist. Soc. There is susposed to be a DAR marker for John Borland, John Glenn and another man in Center Co., PA. Some of the Venango Co. Borlands decended from John. The dates fit for him being a Rev. War soldier. He would have been too old had he started a family in the 1730's.
